Our Flame Proof Cum Weather Proof Double Compression Glands (IIC Zone 1&2) are designed to provide maximum safety in hazardous environments. These glands are tested as per international standards and offer reliable sealing and protection for armored cables, making them suitable for both flame-proof and weather-proof applications. Constructed from high-quality materials, they ensure durability and resistance to corrosion.
The glands are compatible with a wide range of cable diameters and feature robust construction that prevents the ingress of dust, moisture, and explosive gases. Their design facilitates easy installation and a secure fit in various industrial applications.
- Application: Ideal for use in IIC Zone 1&2 hazardous environments, providing flame-proof and weather-proof protection for armored cables.
- Design Features: The glands are tested as per IS/ES 60079-1:2014, IS/IEC 60079-0-2017, IS/IES 60529:2001 (Reaffirmed 2014), and IS/IEC 60079-31-2013 standards. The type Ex 'd' glands come with various entry threads, including Metric, B.S. Cond., NPT, BSP, PG, and more.
- Material of Construction: Primarily Brass, with alternative options available in Aluminum Alloy LM 6, Stainless Steel (SS), Mild Steel (MS), or Cast Iron (CI).
- Ingress Protection: Designed to meet rigorous safety and performance standards for use in hazardous conditions.
- Bill of Material: Compression Nut, Armour Clamping Nut, Gland Body, Neoprene Seal Outer Sheath, Neoprene Seal Inner Sheath, Rubber Washer, Armour Clamping Ring, Armour Clamping Cone, Check Nut, Skid Washer Nylon.
